Welcome to our wedding website!  We are extremely excited to share our very special day with our family and friends, and we can hardly wait for August 5, 2016!

Our story began when my friend and sorority sister, Rosalyn, tasked her husband Anthony with finding me a husband.  Months later on an early December 2012 night, Anthony called to tell me there were two guys from his barber shop he thought I should meet and asked if I was okay with him giving them both my number.  I asked if this gesture was supposed to be my early Christmas present from him.  Anthony and Rosalyn shortly thereafter decided to not give one of the guys my number and hedged all of their bets on Joe.

Joe and I communicated via phone calls and text messages for over a month before going on our first date.  That first date led to many more until one day he asked, “What are we doing?”  I replied, “I guess we’re dating.”  Joe then asked, “So it’s you and me against the world?” I said, “Yes, it’s you and me against the world," and we’ve been Bonnie and Clyde, Ride-or-Die, ever since!

CEREMONY

We love to entertain family and friends with good food and good times whether it’s a holiday, birthday, or sports event.  Our wedding promises to be no different!  Our ceremony and reception is adult-only and will take place outdoors amidst the beautiful gardens and picturesque setting of the Oxon Hill Manor in Oxon Hill, Maryland.  Though our wedding ceremony will begin in the evening, August in the DC metroplitan area tends to be hot and muggy with temperatures averaging around 87 degrees.  As such, we recommend chic, yet comfortable attire.

RECEPTION

Our reception will be lively and just a few steps from the ceremony.  The menu is comprised of some of our favorite dishes and drinks, and we are thrilled to share our first meal and dance steps as Mr. and Mrs. Campbell with our family and friends!
